Frequently Asked Questions

Why would I call a veterinary housecall practice versus visiting a regular veterinarian?

We provide services to those patients that, for any reason, have difficulty getting to the regular veterinarian. Often the patients that we see are more relaxed, quieter and easier to work with in their home environment.

What services do you provide?

We provide all medical care and services that your regular veterinarian can provide. If needed, we will work closely with your veterinarian to provide the best service for you and your pet. We also use specialists if needed.

What animals do you treat?

We primarily treat cats and dogs.

Are you more expensive than the regular veterinarian?

No. The only additional fee is for the housecall which is based on mileage. We can also give you an estimate prior to any service.

What payments do you accept?

We accept cash, check and all major credit cards.

Do you treat emergencies?

If there is an emergency during the normal business day we will do our best to fit you and your pet into our schedule. However, if we are unable to accommodate you, or if delaying treatment will cause your pet more harm, we will refer you to your local emergency hospital.

My pet needs end of life care; can you come and help me work through this?

We do a lot of housecall euthanasia. As painful as it is to let go of your pet, home euthanasia is a kind and loving way to say goodbye in the comfort of your own home. We will work closely with you to help guide you through this painful process.
